Welcome to Babanuga One
Babanuga One provides confidential counselling and practical support for people experiencing both gambling-related problems and wider life challenges.
Led by Funmilade Ayannuga, the service combines professional counselling qualifications, more than six years of counselling-related experience and four years of first-hand experience working as lead supervisor within a gambling environment.
If your challenges affect your finances, relationships, confidence, work, faith or emotional wellbeing, the focus is on helping you understand what is happening and begin moving forward with greater clarity and control.

A Little About Me

I understand that asking for support can feel difficult, especially when gambling has created stress, secrecy, financial pressure or conflict.
My approach is calm, respectful and non-judgmental. I draw on my Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Counselling, more than six years of counselling-related experience and four years working within a gambling environment as a team member and supervisor.
Faith is important to me and shapes my values of compassion, hope and restoration. It can form part of our conversations where helpful, but Babanuga One welcomes people of all faiths and none.
My aim is to help you speak openly, understand your circumstances and identify practical ways forward.
